Bon appétit! It’s time to eat!

Tortilla Pizza

This recipe is easy and your kids can make their own! This is a quick staple in our house. Good for those moments when you look in the pantry and don’t know what to make.

Ingredients

  • Tortillas

  • Pizza sauce

  • Shredded cheese

  • Pizza toppings

    • Pepperoni, ground hamburger, pickles, shredded chicken, etc.

Step 1: Heat your oven to 425 degrees. Place a greased pan in the oven as well to pre-heat (we recommend cast iron, but a pizza stone or cooking sheet/pan also works)

Step 2: Spread pizza sauce on your tortilla and add whatever toppings you’d like!

Step 3: Put your tortilla pizza on the pre-heated pan, bake for ~8-10 minutes (or until it is done, you know your oven best!)

CRFW Pro Tip: Want to take it up a notch? Instead of pizza sauce, spread BBQ sauce on your tortilla and top with shredded chicken and onions for a Barbeque Chicken Pizza!

Novolex Evergreen strike in Cedar Rapids ends - from Corridor Business Journal

That’s it for this week.

We left Tuesday empty of any events since we truly do believe that everyone should go and exercise their civic duty, seriously… go vote. Take 15 mins before work or during lunch… go in lieu of taking your normal afternoon siesta, whenever!

Go show your kids what it means to be a steadfast citizen of the United States of America.
